Vor etwa 10 Jahren hat Lotus für den V8 Esprit einen sogenannte Raceonly-Software etwickelt und verkauft. Diese ist jetzt verfügbar! Diese Software hat einen Boostlevel von 0,75 bar in jedem Gang und hält mehr Frühzündung bei Vollast bereit. Damit ist ohne weiter Veränderungen eine Leistung von etwa 400 PS verfügbar. In Verbindung mit Ladeluftkühlern kommt dann noch mehr Potential der Software heraus. Je nach Treibstoff wird noch mehr Frühzündung und damit Leistung zur Vefügung gestellt.

Diese Software ist mit der zuschaltbaren Ladedruckerhöhung kombinierbar (Preis auf Anfrage). Achtung: Im Winter (kühle Ladeluft) kann das zu Leistungen führen, die noch im 3. Gang zu heftigen Durchdrehen bei trockener Fahrbahn im Bereich von 80 km/h führen können.

Bei Steuergeräten mit Chipholder (ab 1999) ist der Austausch relativ schnell zu bewerkstelligen.

New! Lotus Raceonly-Software now available

Ten years ago Lotus offered a special "raceonly"-software for the Esprit V8. It was very expensive. Now we can offer it for everyone. This software gives the max-boost of 0,75 bar in each gear (stock gave only 0,5 bar in 1st - 4th with only 305 HP). And it is mapped for more ignition advance. This may allow 400 hp without changing anything at the engine. It is able to detect better fuel and give more ignition advance. 

This software could easily be changed in ECUs from 1999 on, which should have chipholder. Attention: It is not recommended to use fullthrottle at cold conditions, what may lead to wheelspin in 3rd gear at 50 m/h by max accelerationon dry conditions. 

It could easily be combined with the switchable boost increase. Ask for the price in one offer.

Zuschaltbarer Ladedruckerhöhung / Switchable boostincrease:

Durch eine Beeinflussung der Ladedruckregelung mit einem Zusatzmodul, läßt sich der Ladedruck des Originalmotors in zwei Stufen ohne Eingriffe in das bestehende System bis zu 1,2 bar schaltbar erhöhen. Der Schalter wird im Inneraum angebracht und kann jederzeit während der Fahrt aktiviert werden. Im ausgeschalteten Zustand bleibt die serienmäßige Regelung aktiv, in der zweiten Stufe werden 0,9 bar eingestellt (ca. 395 PS für regelmäßige Beanspruchung) und in der letzten Stufe liegt die Leistung im Spitzenwert bei 420 PS/309 kW. In Verbindung mit der Ladeluftkühlung sind ca. 480 PS/353 kW möglich.

A switchable module influences the stock boostcontrol  in to stages to 1,2 bar without any modifications at the system itself. It can be activated from the cabine during crusing. The stock boostcontrol is not touched, as long as the module is inactivated. Switched on the power in stage one delivers about 395 HP for daily use and in stage 2 about 420 hp/309 kW could be activated as maximum result. In combination with chargecooling the power can grow to 480 hp/353 kW.
